I.S.K American Division | International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War | 2024-2025

Today, November 6th, we observe the International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict. War and conflict wreak havoc not only on human life but also on the delicate balance of our planet. The deliberate destruction of ecosystems, the pollution of vital resources, and the exploitation of natural wealth have far-reaching consequences. Today is a chance to advocate for preserving our environment, even in times of conflict, a call for working together towards lasting peace that respects the environment to ensure the well-being of future generations and demand justice for those who intentionally damage our planet.

نحتفل باليوم العالمي لمناهضة افساد البيئة في الحروب والصراعات المسلحة في السادس من نوفمبر من كل عام. إن الحروب والصراعات لا تلحق الدمار بحياة الإنسان فحسب، بل إنها تلحق الضرر أيضًا بالتوازن الدقيق لكوكبنا. إن التدمير المتعمد للنُظم البيئية، وتلويث الموارد الحيوية، واستنفاذ الثروات الطبيعية، تحمل عواقب بعيدة المدى تهدد المستقبل. يمثل هذا اليوم فرصة قوية للدفاع عن أهمية الحفاظ على البيئة، حتى في أوقات النزاعات. إنه دعوة للعمل من أجل تحقيق سلام دائم يحترم البيئة لضمان سلامة وأمان الأجيال القادمة. كما يؤكد على ضرورة محاسبة أولئك الذين يتسببون في الإضرار بالكوكب، لنؤمِّن مستقبلًا أفضل للجميع .
