From Dr. Sameera Moussa, the renowned nuclear scientist who devoted her life to the peaceful use of nuclear technology, to Dr. Rana El Kaliouby, the Egyptian AI scientist and co-founder of Affective, whose work has transformed the field of artificial intelligence and human-centered technology, Egyptian women continue to leave their mark on the global scientific community.
Today, countless Egyptian girls are following these inspiring paths, excelling in STEM fields, innovating in classrooms and laboratories, and building a future driven by knowledge, curiosity, and courage.
On this special day, we reaffirm our commitment to empowering girls, nurturing their love for science, and creating safe, supportive environments where every girl feels seen, heard, and encouraged to dream big.
نحتفي بكل فخر بعقول النساء والفتيات في اليوم الدولي للمرأة والفتاة في ميدان العلوم ، وبإصرارهن وتأثيرهن العميق والمستدام في تشكيل العالم من خلال العلم والابتكار والاكتشاف.
لقد كانت المرأة المصرية دائمًا رائدة في مجالات التميّز العلمي، لتؤكد أن الشغف والمثابرة لا يعرفان حدودًا. وعلى سبيل المثال الدكتورة سميرة موسى، العالِمة النووية الرائدة التي كرّست حياتها لتسخير الطاقة النووية لأغراض سلمية، و الدكتورة رنا القليوبي، العالِمة المصرية في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي والمؤسِّسة المشاركة لشركة Affectiva، التي أحدثت أعمالها نقلة نوعية في تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي المرتكزة على الإنسان. تواصل المرأة المصرية ترك بصمتها المشرّفة على الساحة العلمية العالمية.
واليوم، تسير فتيات مصر على هذه الخطى الملهمة، فيبدعن في مجالات العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات، ويبتكرن في الفصول الدراسية والمعامل، ويبنِين مستقبلًا تقوده المعرفة، ويغذّيه الفضول، وتعزّزه الشجاعة.
وفي هذا اليوم المميز، نؤكد التزامنا الدائم بتمكين الفتيات، وتنمية حبهن للعلم، وتوفير بيئات آمنة وداعمة يشعرن فيها بأنهن مرئيات، ومسموعات، ومشجَّعات على الحلم بلا حدود.
